National Book Award

NBF_Foundation-Logo_NEW_USE_THIS_ONE_012218The National Book Awards, established in 1936 by the American Booksellers Association, and now administered by the National Book Foundation (established in 1988). The aim is to recognize outstanding literary work by U.S. citizens in four Award categories (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and young people’s literature).
